Planting Seeds of Hope for Tomorrow’s Harvest

At ujufoundation, our mission to fight poverty and improve access to healthcare does not stop with today’s outreach — it evolves with a long-term vision to make sustainable, community-wide impact across Nigeria. As we look ahead, our calendar is filled with powerful, life-changing events that aim to deepen our reach, strengthen our partnerships, and uplift more lives than ever before.

Our future plans are guided by our core values of compassion, service, transparency, and action. These are not just events — they are movements of love, designed to create real, measurable change.

✅ 1. Quarterly Free Medical Outreach Campaigns

We plan to host quarterly medical missions across underserved communities in Nigeria, with a focus on rural areas lacking primary healthcare. These outreaches will include:

Free health checkups
Malaria and typhoid testing
Maternal and child health services
Eye screenings and free glasses
Basic medications and referrals

These events will be conducted in collaboration with local health workers, volunteer doctors, nurses, and pharmacists to ensure proper care and follow-up.

✅ 2. Annual “Hope Alive” Poverty Relief Drive

Each year, we will host a large-scale, multi-city campaign titled “Hope Alive”, focused on poverty alleviation and empowerment. This flagship event will include:

Distribution of food items, clothing, and household goods
Special support packages for widows and orphans
Small business grants and vocational tools for selected participants
Live empowerment talks, health education, and motivational sessions

We aim to serve at least 10,000 individuals annually through this event, beginning in Lagos and expanding to other states.

✅ 3. Women of Strength Empowerment Summit (Bi-Annual)

Women are the backbone of many struggling homes and communities. Our Women of Strength Summit will gather women from low-income communities for a 3-day workshop focused on:

Skill acquisition (catering, tailoring, bead making, soap production, etc.)
Financial literacy and micro-business mentorship
Wellness and reproductive health education
Success stories from other empowered women

Participants will receive startup kits and ongoing mentorship to turn their training into real income streams.

✅ 4. ujufoundation Community Health Walk (Annually)

We will organize a community health walk across major cities like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Enugu, promoting:

Health awareness
Preventive care
Community unity and solidarity

Each walk will feature health booths, free BP and glucose tests, and motivational talks on living well despite economic challenges.

✅ 5. ujufoundation School Support Program (Ongoing Events)

Our goal is to keep children in school and healthy enough to learn. We’ll roll out regular support visits to low-income schools to provide:

Back-to-school packs (bags, books, pens, shoes)
Health screenings and deworming
Scholarship opportunities for orphans and vulnerable children
Counseling services and career inspiration talks

We aim to adopt at least 20 schools over the next 3 years, impacting over 5,000 students.

✅ 6. Special Festive Season Outreach (Christmas & Eid)

The holidays should not be a time of pain for anyone. During Christmas and Eid celebrations, ujufoundation will:

Distribute food hampers and hygiene kits
Organize community meals
Provide toys and clothing to children in orphanages
Host holiday clinics in selected communities

These events are aimed at restoring joy and dignity during what should be the happiest time of the year.

✅ 7. Volunteer & Donor Appreciation Week (Annually)

None of our work is possible without the incredible volunteers, partners, and donors who support our mission. Each year, we’ll hold a week of appreciation featuring:

Awards & certificates
Networking dinners
Testimonial events showcasing the impact of donations
Behind-the-scenes tours of our operations

This is our way of saying “Thank you” while strengthening the bonds that power our purpose.

✅ 8. Launch of ujufoundation Mobile Health Clinic (In the feature)

A key goal in our long-term plan is the launch of a Mobile Health Clinic — a van equipped with medical tools, medications, and staff that can travel into remote areas for urgent outreach. This mobile solution will:

Reach hard-to-access communities
Respond to emergencies quickly
Offer on-the-spot diagnosis and treatment
Serve as a tool for advocacy and data collection

This project will mark a major milestone in our commitment to healthcare access for all.

✅ 9. ujufoundation Fellowship Program (2026)

We plan to launch a youth fellowship program where passionate graduates and early-career professionals can serve in underserved areas, gain experience in nonprofit work, and drive grassroots change. Fellows will be trained in:

Community outreach
Public health
NGO operations
Leadership & advocacy
